The way websites work has changed forever.\nOverview of the WordPress dashboard\, getting to know your way around\nUnderstanding WordPress terminology including Posts\, Pages\, Permalinks and more\nPublishing your first blog post or page in seconds\nAdding Menus to your WordPress website\nOverview of how to style your website professionally using Themes\nOverview of how to enhance your website with Plugins\n\nEach attendee will have a demo WordPress website configured on the web server for you to experiment with throughout the duration of the course to practice the various aspects of what is being taught. \n  \nWhat to Bring \nThroughout the course you’ll need a laptop for some of the interactive parts. If you do not have one\, a tablet will suffice or simply work with another attendee to shadow them. The beginner’s course is approximately 75% theory and background understanding and 25% hands on. We won’t be going into the finer technical details or coding\, we’ll leave that for a more advanced session if you would like to learn more about that. \n  \nWhat You’ll Learn\nAfter attending the introduction to WordPress workshop you will go away with a good understanding of how to use WordPress effectively for managing your business online.
